Rio Blanco County Historical Society & White River Museum
Your headquarters for the history of Rio Blanco County and the White River Valley. Open daily from 9AM to 5PM mid-April through end of November, 10AM – 4PM through the winter. Free Admission-Donations Welcome!
Flat Tops Wilderness Area/ White River National Forest

Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trails
Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials are held the week after Labor Day (Wed – Sunday) each September in Meeker Colorado. The community of Meeker opens its doors to the world as it plays host to one of the premier sheepdog trials in the country.
Flat Tops Scenic Byway
The Byway is the backbone of access to the Flat Tops Wilderness and over 350,000 acres of public land managed by the US Forest Service (Blanco Ranger District). In the winter months snowmobile riders, snowshoers, cross-country skiers will find access to groomed trails and powder from the Lost Creek trailhead at mile marker 30.
The Wagon Wheel Trail System
The Wagon Wheel Trail System currently has approximately 250 miles of roads and trails with varying levels of difficulty.
